The building provides a multi-purpose sports hall accommodating space for badminton, netball, basketball, five-a-side football, hockey, volleyball, indoor cricket, trampolining, gymnastics, aerobics and dance, and a fully equipped gym, café and nursery.

The proposed Sports Hub brings together high quality facilities for numerous sports and for the use by participants at all levels. The facilities will be available to educational establishments; offer regional representation of various National Governing Bodies; and accommodate everyone up to and including elite level.
