Grainger were keen to understand the possibilities for this two hectare mixed use site close to Temple Meads station and the Feeder canal. At the time, maximum value could be achieved through residential development, while the whole area, Feeder Town as it was dubbed, was to become mixed use.

Within the historic market town of Abergavenny, residential accommodation was provided as part of the larger masterplan that also included a new library, public spaces and food store. This is a truly mixed use development. The design achieved Code for Sustainable Homes, Code Level 4.

Bristol developers Crest Nicholson Residential had a project comprising 78 units of flats and town houses which had been given the go-ahead for construction on an in-filled quarry site in Bath. Unfortunately the design submitted by the original architects required substantial re-design to make the project buildable.
