Formerly a cinema and now used very successfully both as a meeting place for a church community and as a concert venue. The Forum is a listed, landmark Art Deco building in the centre of the historic city of Bath.

The Revenue were looking for an auditorium to be fitted into an existing building near Cardiff, which at one time housed over four thousand staff. This would be a space which could act as a major training and conference facility, and where keynote presentations could be given.

A successful competitive bid by Stubbs Rich won us the contract to fit out this prestigious conference facility on the fifth floor of Canary Wharf for the European Medical Evaluation Agency, a body which deals with development processes and quality control of medicines.

We have developed a scheme on this very tight and highly constrained site which will accommodate up to 800 people both for the main services on a Sunday, as well as functioning as an art school, dance studio, music rehearsal and many other uses during the week.

We were approached to redesign their training / refectory areas to double-up as a conference / reception facility. We concluded that the only way the brief could be adequately satisfied was with the establishment of a dedicated facility; a prestigious space appropriate to a company of Goodyear Dunlop’s standing.
